"I don't know if you saw the last few minutes of court. Thursday's last minute protest of having the hearing on Monday (Halloween) because it is not allowed to discuss the worship of the devil during the 4 months of Makahiki was classic. The patience of Amano was stellar. I was surprised that she didn't just tell him the topic of the devil worship will not be discussed on Monday in court but she was probably just struggling in confusion of how to address this issue.

To be fair, although Fergerstrom's call for a delay due to Halloween is something I would expect to see in a Monty Python sketch, the UH/TMT lawyers did not impress. They didn't seem to know which witnesses they would be calling on Monday 31st.
I've only ever used a law firm once, a CA one, and although they were expensive, they were so much sharper than these guys.
