Hydro flasks banned at Hilo theater?

We had to go through airport-style metal detectors to get into Safeway in DC. That was in the early 90's.

To get into the Limelight in NYC ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Limeli...y_location ) we got wanded with metal detectors AND frisked. Same time frame / early 90s. It was a classy place though, even had a bathroom attendant!
