You don't have to like or agree with how Facebook is poisoning people's minds in order to exploit it for your own benefit.

Sign up with fake information and only "use" them. If you are afraid of them putting cookies on your computer, use your browser's privacy feature.

I'm not a huge fan of how social media is polluting people's brains but to try to resist using them "in principle" (or whatever) is a lot like resisting radio, TV, telephones, cell phones, etc when they were new technologies.

Consider "using" them with your fake information to be like sneaking past enemy lines and stealing their information.
