The protestors claim the state has forced the TMT on the public against their will. But aren’t the protestors, a small minority of Native Hawaiian people, the group that’s forcing their opinion, their preference, and their ideas on a majority of Native Hawaiians? Don’t the protestors completely ignore the view of the majority in their statements, comments, and demands? Aren’t these actions generally associated with totalitarian regimes, dictators, or tyrannical parties who disregard the will of the people?
