Cool enough for its own topic, at least.
Wondering what happens next for TMT, because we have:
- Ige delegates to Kim
- Kim has no authority
- protestors say "we're not moving"
- TMT says "we're still planning to build on Mauna Kea"
I suggest that we can't risk the economic impact of TMT moving on -- not just because we will lose the money/jobs from TMT being built/operated, but because nobody will bother trying to invest in a place that doesn't have basic rule of law.
