(08-23-2021, 01:11 AM)My 2 cents Wrote: HUMAN USE Ivermectin..
It seems to me this is a reach. It's good that folks reach, otherwise we'll never get off this rock. But at the moment, as it is, I'm on team Moderna...
And still.. there is hope. But until those that believe in that course are able to muster enough peer reviewed data it's going to be hard to break the momentum of vaccines as the dominate tool in humanity's war against the Covid scourge.

The WHO Therapeutics and COVID-19 living guideline is the World Health Organization's (WHO) most up-to-date recommendations of treatments of COVID-19.
Their recommendation is that ivermectin should not used in patients with COVID-19 unless it is in a research setting, as part of a clinical trial.
This recommendation is the result of a systematic review of randomised clinical trials that used ivermectin for COVID-19. After analysing the information from these studies, they believe that there is a high degree of uncertainty on whether ivermectin is helpful or harmful in treating COVID-19.
The uncertainty in some of the ivermectin trials for COVID-19 is due to
- serious risk of bias
- serious risk of imprecision.
More RCT are needed with higher quality of evidence to determine if ivermectin is successful at treating COVID-19.
And, as I write I can hear 'but you can't trust the WHO' droning on.. and on. Still, while I know nothing about all that, I can guarantee that if Ivermectin were really as some would suggest, the answer to all that ails us, there is no way the world wouldn't know about.
If you have real info that points to, as you say, Ivermectin's effectiveness against covid 19 (63 trials, 31 randomized controlled trials), or how it has squashed covid in the countries that have given it to their people, man, bring it on! Forget the papers, show us your links!
