If your argument is, yeah but EV cars have more, would that argument mean third world countries would stop using child labor for technologies with smaller batteries?
Most likely the number of child workers needed to make phones would be the same.
You don't often hear about the "good" pre Civil War slave owner who had a smaller number of enslaved on his plantation than the guy with the bigger cotton farm down the road.
