Question for Rob on current PunaWeb hopes & expectations

Actually, you can always shout fire in a crowded theater, there just may be consequences for doing so, depending on the context. Similarly, you can "post here and there and everywhere I desire", there just may be consequences for doing so. Freedom of action doesn't mean freedom from consequence.

HiloJulie - And the real problem to me is not that MyMano is a washed up drunken misogynist pig, it’s the people who support his behavior, which has gone on here at PunaWeb for over a decade.
So now you're not in support of how Rob has run PunaWeb for decades? You do understand that only he can moderate someone's speech here? Has me wagging my finger made you more receptive of community feedback? Made Tom act less of a fool? Helped kalianna find joy in the absurdity of it all? Doesn't seem so to me, so once again, you're mistaken in your understanding and expectations here. As sensei HOTPE said "Sometimes if they say or do nothing, it’s not that they approve of the comment.  It’s not that they think it’s true.  In the world of online forums wildly crazy stuff is posted every microsecond."

Well, I believe it was you that went on the triad of me putting words into your mouth, but having said that, I think comparing your original complaint to Rob about enforcing PunaWeb rules such as Kalakoa points out about spacing, fonts, quoting, engaging in banter and the like are no comparison to a person calling a woman a “BITCH” or asking how many times she “dropped her drawers” for a former public servant.

I would think, in that context, that I’d have to agree that Rob should step in and moderate that. And, while saying or doing nothing may mean that others don’t agree with those comments, it can also equally mean agreement.
