The thread where your quote came from was indeed not about the firing of Federal Workers, but it was in reply to another poster's weak and spineless assertation that requiring the wearing of masks and showing vaccination proof during the height of COVID 5 years ago lead to a local restaurant's closure this week.
And the comment that you made on that thread was made with the sick, disgusting, foul, rabid and ridiculous intent of expressing happiness and GLEE! Like Homer Simpson drooling over a donut. Having the mindset of "those bastards "muzzled" me and made me get the "jab," so they sure got what's coming!" Right?
While I never ate at that restaurant, I know people who have and as I understand it, was quite a good one. Now gone. Closed. And ALL the workers out of a job. And to be clear, requiring masks and vaccination proof from 5 years ago had nothing to do with its closure. I wonder how many US Fish and Game, National Park Service and NOAA local employees, now fired, may have frequented that restaurant.
