I can't tell for sure since the posts are very wordy, but I believe MyManao hints that temperature differences between night and day affect magma flow. However, their effect on the surface is a tiny blip on the inflation/deflation plots, yet there doesn't seem to be any correlation or feasible mechanism for this to occur.
