Hawaii inventory is way up according to reventure.app in an email they sent.
"The number of listings on the Hawaii housing market grew by 48.68% over the last 12 months through February 2025. There are now 5703 listings on the market across Hawaii compared to 3836 the same time last year."
They pull the data from public sources. I can't vouch for the accuracy. Anecdotally, it does seem like there are significantly more decent homes available in HPP for under 500k than there were a year ago. On the other hand, there are objectively less brand new homes for sale in HPP. Have the builders slowed down?
There are some good functions available for free on reventure.app including the aforementioned statistics for YOY increase in inventory both statewide and down to any zip code you might be interested in.
