Yeah, NWS says it averages once a season every couple years. The real question though is how's the drive from Puna compared to MLO - better, worse, or about the same (in the "you can't get there from here" sorta way)?
That question makes no sense. What are you asking to be compared? As to MLO, a lava flow is blocking the access road, making access difficult, no matter where you drive from.
Wait a minute.. are you saying you asked the question, and Tom replied to you stating that you make no sense?
So.. how can this be..

Sorry Mod2, going a bit off the plantation, but as TomK seems intent to wander into confusion over his eisegesis versus exegesis, figured a sidetrip might be tolerated on this meandering drive to somewhere[...]
I really don't care. Are you bringing scripture into a climate change thread? I just pointed out "MyManao" asked a question that made no sense and is impossible to answer.
Seriously, and I am the one who gets scolded for pointing out mental lapses.. amazing.
Given that you accuse others of much worse, the answer is yes.

Using “you get what you pay for” as a guide, the answer is you don’t deal with situations like this.
There’s a line to cross when an offer of assistance becomes harassment.
From the forum agreement:
By registering on this discussion system you agree that you will not post any material which is knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually orientated, threatening or invasive of a person's privacy
This problem has existed since the start of forums that allowed people to discuss things online. Many disagree or ask questions, and the OP goes off on a wild tangent of accusations against others rather than answering questions. You see it in PW all the time. Ask a question, and the OP explodes. Point out a problem with an argument; you get accused of not having the qualifications to argue the point, even though the OP doesn't have the qualifications.
None of my posts have ever approached the level of "knowingly false, inaccurate, abusive, hateful, harassing, sexually orientated, threatening or invasive of a person's privacy," but those I've argued with nearly always break one of those rules. That's why I still have my original username here; others don't.
And I ask questions.
