While not trying to break any PunaWeb rules with respect to the Puna and/or Hawaii related content requirement(s), or offend any other poster(s), however, since Ironyak initiated the post about the Utah tragedy and now Obie has added his confidently stated opinion as fact, I would like to clarify the facts of the matter as follows:
"The gunman was released because he didn't break any laws."
Let's be clear.
It has not been determined that he did or did not break any laws. He was "released, pending investigation," (as we see done right here in Hawaii time after time) with restrictions placed upon him:
"In Gamboa's release order, Judge James Blanch said he must live with his father and is barred from possessing firearms, limitations to last two months or if criminal charges are pressed against him."
