Your inability or unwillingness to read is really going to limit your opportunities to understand the world around you. As for definitions, the good ole dictionary notes that the origins of "tang", are: first recorded in 1325–75; Middle English tange “tongue of a snake, projection on a tool" so probably best to be careful throwing around that aptronym boomerang.
