...show some class on their own and avoid any potential shame. I'm into solutions. I hope that's not a problem.
If not us, who? If not now, when? Please Julie. Lead the way.
Sorry Tangy, I'm too old to lead the way. Besides, I already got my hands full with my 8 elderly neighbors, the occasional drive by drop off of my teenage grandson, generally along with a gaggle of 4 to 6 teenage buddy's along with his 3 year old sister as well as a 4 legged 24 pound sack sheer terror that can only be described as Lucifer in the fur.
But the one thing those 8 elderly neighbors know and feel every day is that feeling of shame, like being somewhat embarrassed when we or other neighbors come to their aid with some extra cooked dinners, extra foods, a weekly invite at our place for dinner, maybe a special dinner at Luquins or some other local restaurant for a birthday or holiday, with them deep down knowing that if we didn't do that, they would go a bit hungry. Also shuffling some back and forth to Hilo or even Honolulu for doctor appointments as well as helping to keep yards and homes maintained, one time replacing a $600.00 water pump and expansion tank for one of those neighbors but telling them it was a $2.00 pressure switch hose from Ace Hardware, only to be reimbursed that $2.00 with 8 quarters. Just because they are too old AND too poor to do it themselves. But despite that, they sure are 100% pure class. Hope that's not a problem for you!
Oh, ironically, you know who else loves to peddle in that aura of "do this or face shame?" Oh, silly me, that would be National Politics. My bad!
I stand here, now inspired by the House of Ashur:
Why yes, a story about following a scheming villain, risen from the dead, who navigates Roman politics, sex, and violence is so befitting of PunaWeb. Absolutely no National Politics in that concept that's for sure! But I am happy to see you dropped the reference of those on the left as being mentally handicapped, but, I see you're still going with the cesspit reference of PunaWeb and the rest of its posters!
TomK and I both agree and consider you to possibly be a well known troll who went by the name of Ken.
In the meantime several of us have considered allowing you to post mainland news and politics and voiced our opinions !
Yeah, "own" that Ken guy I guess? I know we now live in a National Political word of accusing someone of doing something automatically implies guilt, but really? Or, could it be I used up all the free benefits under Obama Care before it was just gutted all to hell, and a sex change operation and became the beautiful woman I am now at taxpayer expense? (OK, I admit, beauty is sometimes in the eye of the beholder, but the sex change operation and Obama Care bit could be a good yarn to spin for sure!)
At any event, I thank you and the Doctor for your consideration in allowing me to post National Politics and your opinions.

OK, well it's your call to make. I bet if you take a vote of the 8 elderly Hawaiian neighbors they would vote for the moms and kids though. Some of them are probably related. There is still time - maybe sleep on it. Tomorrow always brings a fresh perspective. Aloha
