Do you know if any of these hotspot capable phones can stream to a TV? Is there anyway to use their data for streaming services like Netflix or Criterion, on a TV, not phone or iPad?
Yes, you just need a phone with hotspot feature, or in the case of Calyx an actual hotspot device. I think they all throttle video to 720p by default, except visible where the higher tiers are 1080 and 4k capable (except we don't have 5G Verizon towers in Puna so you probably won't actually get that). I stream using a Roku with no issues, usually setting YouTube etc to 480p for reliability, and Netflix I think is streaming 720p usually.
