Aloha, Punaweb circle–jerk..
Ah, the good old circle…
It’s amazing to watch two men who obviously think of themselves as esteemed, Tom and Kane, jockeying for the roll of Woof in the Puna, Hawaii revival of the epochal musical, Hair…
And yes Tom, Hair, which in our last visit to its reference you dissed as some nonsense far below your exalted stature. And yet, at the time of it’s London premier at the Shaftesbury Theatre on September 27, 1968, the event prompted dramatist and critic Frank Marcus to jubilantly note in the Sunday Telegraph:
“At long last the London theatre has burst into flame. When I emerged from the theatre, dazed, shattered and delighted, smothered in confetti, flowers and balloons, the cast and some of the audience were dancing frantically on the stage. For all I know they may be dancing still. This show is in every sense of the word, sensational.”
And, btw, brah, Hair ran for 1,997 performances before folding its West End-based tribal tents.
And to watch two, so called, grown men trying to best each other for a chance to grab a staring roll, and sing the sacred hymns once again… amen to both Gerome Ragni and James Rado for their truly timeless commentary on Western Civilization..

For you both.
With a special shout out to Kane's waste of all the electricity, and heat vented into the atmosphere, for this special edition of what he calls entertainment. Touché brother.
And as the song goes.. let the sunshine in..
