I'm not in the Baby Boomer generation, not even close, by any common definition of the term or how the generational lines get drawn. That should be clear from my references to my cynical, fight-the-power framework of beliefs. Don't really care whether you believe it or not, or as we might say, p'shaw whateva.
How about you define "woke" for me and I'll try to bridge the generational gap and convince you that you are more woke than you care to know. Hell, Hawai'i is more woke than people understand or care to admit.
Claiming you are not a boomer is quite frankly a hilarious joke as well as making you a big liar. You have been a member of PunaWeb for 17 years. If you are "not by a long shot" a "boomer" what, were you just learning to walk when you joined PunaWeb?
I'd venture to say that if you asked anyone in the generational name category outside that of "boomer" who Jimmy Carter was, I'd bet some serious cash you would hear, "oh yeah, that old guy who built houses for poor people" much less someone who can intimately define the "put on the sweater" comment Jimmy made as POTUS. A "not by a long shot" boomer watched Dr. Who and Soap? Maybe your tongue got in front of your eye teeth so you can't see what you are saying?
As for Bill's take on Islam, again, listen to what he says. His beef with Islam as a religion that calls for the death of a person because they drew a cartoon of their supposed "god," or decided to leave that religion for another, or requires 4 male witnesses to prove a woman was raped, forces women to wear the "burka" is that what you define as "islamaphobia? Listen to Bill. Not just what you read on your consistently embedded links you are so prolific at.
As to define #woke ideology, it was originally something worthwhile. Pointing our social injustices, especially with the African American populations. But the best example I can provide came from you yourself. Calling Kane & now Wahine drunk drug users. Of course they must be. They may have once said something you did not agree with, was maybe a little far out, or supported right wing stuff, used AI, so, automatically, they are drunk drug users in your book. That's the #woke ideology you are employing. Painting everyone with a big huge brush, while you sit back in your hypocritical judgement of others.
So, you use a Windows based computer? OK Then you support a population reducing, microchip installing, forcing you to eat fake meat, blocking the sun, "new normal" billionaire. Oh, not windows but a MAC? OK then you support a paternity denying, employee berating, handicapped parking stall hog, "good artists borrow, great artists steal" philosophy billionaire.
As for anything the racist bigot MyManao said about comparing me to Crissy Snow, from the TV show Three's Company, his intellect is way to shallow to understand the life the actress who played Crissy Snow, who stood up to the same misogynist and chauvinist pigs that MyManao is and demanded equal play to that of her co-star John Ritter and got fired for it, but then grew her personal net worth to over 100 million bucks by the time she died. But MyManao's misogynist and chauvinist pig brain uses that comparison only to make me be just a dumb uneducated ditzy blond girl which is what the character of Crissy Snow was.
At any event, continue on being the pure and utter hypocrite you apparently are so proud to be. But, yeah, not by a long shot are you a boomer. Did you see that pig that just flew by?
