While tax optimization might be a major motivator for the D-bag tribe, it is unlikely to be the only reason that they move to Florida. Much less affluent people have been bee-lining it to Sunny Florida for a plethora of reasons. The common denominator is that none of them is likely to have yet survived an entire summer there.
We should have a boomerang tax. If a D-bag Billionaire blows this shave ice stand and then comes back with their tail between their legs after a sweltering summer in the swamp, they should have to surrender half of their net worth to gain entry. Problem solved. What could go wrong? Tax 'em!
