With all due respects to HOTPE, but let me reply to your endless gibberish with some more endless gibberish:
Repeated financial crises (Roger offshoring Me lifetime-and-a-gold-watch factory job, 2008 Florida strippers buying too many houses on deregulated credit, a once-a-century pandemic being ignored by boomers in charge so younger essential workers are subjected to life-threatening conditions so other entitled boomers can stay at home and order weed, record inflation due to Boomer-in-chief cutting taxes for high earners and not recapturing those PPP loan scams, and lead boomer driving up costs on everything by trying to get even with the dead for a 50-year-old revenge plot over the 1953 US overthrow of a democratically elected leader) have left many in the younger generation with no pot to piss in. Having to compost poop, and pee on the fruit trees and other "rocks" as needed.
Yeah, people did that. I did not. Again, the rhetoric of your logic that is the equivalent of the Hawaiian man robs a store, so all Hawaiian men rob stores is astounding, coupled with the endless blame game over and over and over.
Maybe this is an appropriate response:
Oh no, poor Instacart, whatever can they do to protect themselves from having to refund the customers' money other than to actually require their drivers be near the GPS of the delivery location when closing an order, or checking that enough time has passed to reasonably believe food was picked up and delivered, or actually posting a receipt from the right store like Costco with the right date, etc... Corpo scum - they've done nothing and are all out of ideas - probably best not to give them your money, even if it gets refunded ultimately (which seems to be the case from Edge's Hilo Happenings FB thread)
Yeah, that Corpo scum should add a few hundred more paid staff positions to ensure some scum bag insta cart driver does the job he is supposed to do makes a lot of sense I suppose. Just raise the prices up even more to pay for those positions as there are plenty of saps out there willing to pay!
Raising kids, taking care of older relatives, and working most every day. What makes you think I, of all people, am trying to encourage people drive even farther, to the other side of the island at that, as a regular solution for fetching their food? I'm on Team Light Edge, with the growing of turnips in the backyard solutions, not Team Dark Edge, with the "just one more lane bro" induced demand driving solutions.
Oh, poor you. You think YOU'RE the only one who has done that? Look, I did an adult thing!!! Pat me on my back! We're your kids planned or just the result of poor decisions on your part?
Cue Bill: (Contains adult languange, viewer discretion is advised)
You can join us in the basement if you like - we got recreational options at least as good as those Point Place Wisconsin kids, can roll some D20s to fight the demogorgons, maybe order a pizza, with pineapple, far out, and watch some Linklater if you like. Mom's dead so we're on our own, but can do most anything, if we dream together and work together.
Yeah, let's all work together, as long as by working together, we just blame all the boomers for all things bad. Count me in, but only if I can live rent free in a washed up, irrelevant old boomer's head!
