Big Island Organizations & Programs Losing Funding

While this US Forestry Reserve massive closure and reorganization will be very disruptive to all of Hawaii and especially here on the Big Island, the sole impetus and main goal of this closure is to vastly increase US commercial timber production. The closures as it relates to Hawaii is us just being caught in the crossfire.

Not going to go into further detail or post any factual sources of factual information so as to keep the sacred sanctity of keeping all posts Puna/Hawaii specific, so if you care, research it yourself. 

The real question as it relates to Hawaii, is who could possibly support this? And how will we ever recover from it?
