I post my opinions and also question posters when they write something that's scientifically dubious. I'll also point out logical fallacies when those posters make them. I tend not to post direct insults, and would like to know what was "menacingly uncivil". I don't think you'll find such a post, and I doubt there will be a good answer. MyManao and his previous sock accounts have posted scientific nonsense over the years, and he doesn't like it when people point it out. MyManao (i.e., the real person behind the online identity) has gone so far as to harass the admin staff at their workplace.
No doubt there will be a couple of posters who complain about this post, but ask yourself whether they have ever contributed anything to Punaweb or are just here to moan, whine, and complain. For those people, please note that MyManao keeps referring to me. If he considers it unhealthy, why does he continue to bait me? He knows I'll point out his nonsense, so why does he continue to do so? It's my opinion that he wants to be seen as a victim.
PS. I'll also add that Moderator 2's comment about a virus is unkind, irrational and inappropriate.
Skeptical thinking does not cause illness.
I'm sure she or he will figure it out, but asking for evidence or pointing out the problems in someone's hypothesis is not a virus that needs to be stamped out. It's the method we have used to get here, i.e., you using a phone and computer to post on PW. Comparing that to a virus is uncalled for. I suggest he or she rethink their reasoning and not treat rational people the same way religious people did with Galileo.
