Back in 2011 or 2012, I forget exact dates, I had a methhead neighbor who owned an attack dog. It was a mastiff crossed with something from hell. It attacked everyone, so in our small neighborhood, we armed ourselves. The nice neighbors had baseball bats, and I had a child's cricket bat. I remember another neighbor coming over and seeing me with the bat, and he simply said: "You can do some real damage with that". He was right. It had a flat part you used for defense, and the edge carried the full weight of the wood and my kinetic energy to damage anything's skull.
I would have crushed that dog's skull if it had tried attacking my neighbors or me again.
It's all there in PW if anyone wants to look back. I have no problem killing an animal if it's a threat to me, family, or friends. The tourist from Seattle didn't do any of that unless he thinks his family is turtles.
