Fun.. the heirs of the original recipients of what today is my kuleana (parcel #37 on the original Hawaiian Kingdom's map of the kuleana in Waipio), as it turned out have been long time, forty and more years already, friends, and jumped right on in as I began to clear the land.. and have been a part of what goes on there ever since. We all go way back.. so much so my family's arrival in the islands, in the valley, and participation in their's has been added to their family's moʻolelo.
But hey, no matter brother 'tang, I am sure you mean well, and can share with us how you have embraced, and been embraced by, our hosts.
