Scott Nago Solves Democracy Crisis With Magic Basket of Destiny
#29
Yes, clown-show were my words.  I stand by them.  It looked more like a clown-show than an election, to me.  That is my opinion.

And as for it being your opinion, of which, you're entitled to have, but what exactly about it was a "clown show?'

The law clearly states that a tied election, as what we had in two different elections, be settled by "lot." And it does not matter what the law used to be - can't argue with the cop when the speed limit changes that it "used" to be higher.

The method used by the Chief Elections Officer was in full compliance with the legal definition of settling a tie vote by "lot."

Would a coin toss be different? Some towns and cities in Nevada settle tie votes - by - a draw of cards or a roll of dice. Would that have been more or less of a clown show? Coin toss?

I can imagine however, that that a headline of "Hawaii Chief Elections Officer settles two tie votes in Hawaii by following prescribed law" would not gather as much hype as your opinions desire to instill.

So, yes, please clear up the confusion as to what you find and has formed your opinion that this was a "clown show" and that your posting of your opinion is NOT designed to be provoking.
