Odd
Nothing odd about it at all.
The 5 cases are for all cases in one state, Hawaii.
The 143 cases are for mail in ballots in the entire country.
None of which affected elections in any way.
Everything has a certain level of acceptable error. It costs unacceptable amounts of money to make something perfect. For instance, when manufacturing:
What a healthy rejection rate looks like: 5–15% for precision instruments with systematic inspection

Could you cut that rejection rate to 1%? Sure, but it would cost more than any gain you would receive from increased output.
It’s the same with voting. Could you reduce the fraud from .00006% to .00005%? Yes, but it would cost much more money and the results would statistically remain exactly the same.
Nothing is perfect. If you demand perfection, you’ll get better results demanding it from the top, not the bottom.
