Disgust-O-Meter tilts past complete abomination

Hi gang:

I have a fellow named Stephan (sp?) who is supposed to come over today to drain, disinfect and refill the pool. Ah showers again.

We have a really good black cover for the tank that is secured with a cinched tight wire all the way round the perimeter. Also the cover is weighted down with cinder blocks. I can't figure out how they got into the water in the first place. The only possible way they may have gotten in is where the water input pipes enter the tank. There are small gaps where the cover goes over the pipes. They must have squeezed up through there.
