Richard Ha,
Scientific information backing the claims can be found here. Citations for peer review studies are also contained within the document.

The fact is that we don't know if GMO's are safe. There is insufficient research and as any scientist will tell you "scientifically proven" really only means as far as we know at present but that is always subject to change as new information becomes available. They will also tell you that research outcomes can be easily skewed, especially if profit is involved. I can't help but think of the countless pharmaceuticals that have been tested and retested and "proven safe" only to find that they are anything but and often more dangerous than what they were supposed to treat. Or big tobacco scientists "proving" that tobacco use is harmless. DDT was once "scientifically proven" to be safe. We just don't know. There has been insufficient research and insufficient time. Agribusiness, particularly Monsanto, doesn't know either, despite their claims. If they were certain they wouldn't be spending millions trying aggressively to enact legislation that will exempt them from liability if their products are found to be unsafe at a later date. So what is wrong with the public knowing what they eat?

How does an organically grown dwarf apple banana (which is a GMO!!!) have anything to do with pesticides? Other than not having any, of course.

A pesticide can be very specific, It can kill only insects and not mammals, or even a specific category or type of insect. Humans eat many types of foods that are lethal to other creatures. People love chocolate, but it kills dogs.
Have you ever heard of a LD 50 test? It determines how much of a substance will kill (lethal dose) 50% of a given population. Even in a group of rats, only part of a population may be affected by a substance.
Look at specific humans. Keith Richards for instance, seems to have the ability to ingest anything with minimal effects.

Obie was right. This is the 3rd time. I meant to add that the part of my previous comment in quotes was from Jon Rappoport's blog.

Compare the LD50 for pesticides, GMO food, and marijuana.
Now compare their respective legal status.

Good example. Calling something a "pesticide" or "illegal" or categorizing it as a "narcotic" has no relation to the actual danger that substance has.

Wether or not it is not deadly in minimum doses is not relevant, at the end of the day is, its still poison, and I dont want it.
Apparently neither does the rest of the globe.
you can argue to what degree it is poisonous all you want, at the end of the day, its still a toxic substance being sprayed on your food.
Think about that. food. Your second most important thing in your hierarchy of needs.
I dont care what tests you have or things you claim, at the end of the day, its still poison in food.

Coffee, chocolate, tea, etc all contain alkaloids that are toxic at a certain level. It's in the food yet people eat and drink it.
Many spices that we regularly add to our foods contain natural toxins. Salt is not even food, it's a mineral, and at a certain level is toxic.
It is probably not possible to eat a diet of foods that are 100% toxin free to humans. Moderation and variety in what you do eat will probably work pretty well to keep a person healthy.
