On the contrary, if anything I try to make it a point to welcome newcomers to the area, perhaps helping them to more quickly understand and adapt to a new social environment, which is mutually beneficial. I read somewhere that aloha has to be earned. Rubbish. It can be lost, but doesn't require to be earned up front.

The Office of Hawaiian Affairs strongly condemns this morning’s arrests on Mauna Kea and again urges the state to cease further enforcement action and arrests until legal questions relating to the Mauna Kea emergency rules are properly resolved.
Confused, as usual: the camping was already illegal under the existing rules and laws, which makes "legal questions" regarding the "emergency" rules somewhat of a moot point.

It's so confusing isn't it? The same people who are so certain some things that took place a hundred years ago are "illegal" can't figure out when told last month, last week, or yesterday, on multiple occasions, citing multiple laws that they are camping illegally.

So the day/night after the arrests were more protestors up there? Is this enforcement a once in a while random thing, or are they clearing them out? I can guess at the answer, but still wondering.
