Hawaiian Acres Problems
#81
Thank you, Opihikao. When talking to normal people I will definitely call a spade a spade, although sometimes I might use a little British understatement. I like that tradition and enjoy using it on occasion.

On the other hand, when talking to colleagues (not always normal people) I sometimes have to call a spade a specifically-calibrated non-powered environmental de-earthing implement. And I also have to remember what spelling to use, British English or American English. Or Pidgin (I'm not good at the latter!).

It's a tough life.

unicornkazoo/barry/and your other socks.

"the problem with your posts, justthefacts, is that you leave me with far more questions than answers."

Quite.

"if they aren't paying for roads-then does the money go straight to rubies???"

Rubies? Seriously?

"i always support your truth-telling-but so far you just a lot of talk-no walk. you might consider upping your game."

This is where there might be a small question about about someone's memory and comprehension, but am sure a small sherry may have affected this poster's interpretation of events. I am struggling to understand how someone might support another's "truth-telling" while in the same sentence suggests it's all talk and no stroll. If I might be allowed to make a suggestion, I suspect kazoo/barry and other his or her's other fictional characters follow their own kind suggestion and improve their own performance as well.

I don't think the assoc. takes care of the roads up there. I believe they call the roads, charm.

you couldnt locate a single sarcasm if it bit the nose off your face. instead of spreading lies about others-how about you be honest with everyone about why you always jump in and defend justthefacts-midnight lovers-i heard you could improve your performance there as well.

it's not like they can't afford to pay for rock and labor- if they aren't paying for roads-

Meanwhile, 20 miles down the road in Hilo, they're pouring experimental pavement for when we go back to the moon... or Mars.

Anyone want to wager which will have improved roads first? The Acres, the Moon, or Mars? I'm going with the Moon in 2025 and Mars in 2037. I have a low tolerance for risk so don't want to make a prediction for the Acres.

Exactly-since nasa and harc have the same exact budget and exact same labor force-it's definitely fair to compare the two.

That's why there is the saying:
"If we can put a man on the Moon, why can't we..."

(Added: sometimes it doesn't require a NASA sized budget to accomplish simple things)

latest news from the association HACA , they want to stop all proxy voting by the membership . they want the out of state property owners to vote either in person or drop off their ballot at the office , both of which are not possible . the new board contiues to be non transparent in their business and is now censoring posts on their google group page as well as their facebook page .

I believe that would be the point. How "transparent" is a pocket full of proxies? How "local" is the vote of an absentee owner?
