I was looking over some of the temps. around the island... 35* in Volcano Village. I'm sure there are probably some areas up there that got some frost. That is a real BRRRRRRRR!! 57* in Pahoa.

hmm? at 0430 yesterday morning, it was 48 degrees. stars littered the sky. simply beautiful. this morning: 46 in fern forest according to our reader.

Yeah, I think that was an error. It was more like 43-45. That was weather underground I'm guessing. KMC's website has a link to the current conditions in that area. I check both. I doubt it was 35. It didn't feel that cold. But ya never know.

I put a thermometer outside last night and it read 42 at 6:30AM. This is in Volcano Village. It was definitely colder a couple of nights ago.
