Any cheap way to pickup tv channels?
#21
Hey Eric! I should've clarified that I'm using that antenna north of Seattle.

Most of Puna reports 11-12 channels. The exception is the downslope of the east rift zone (Leilani Estates, Kapoho, Kalapana, etc), and Volcano. The downslope area does not have a clear shot of _any_ of the transmitters, and in Volcano, the antenna just needs to clear the tree line.

H22, No problem. I'm still going to wait around. I'm not really in a hurry of off the air TV. It would be nice but eh... I've lived with out TV for 4 years and honestly I don't miss not watching depressing news shows or the price is wrong...

But, I think it would be cool to watch PBS nova and some other science shows that might be carried even tho I get them all off the internet anyway. Smile I guess if you have nothing better to do than park your butt and zone out on spoon fed programming that the general public wants to watch loaded with 15million commercials... YeeeHa! The more I think about it probably the more I don't really want an HD antenna. Smile
