Just heard on the news tonight that there was another shooting in Hilo. That's two in what...a week? They are still looking for the shooter from the first one.

You sure you heard it right? It's not on any of the news sites. They did announce the autopsy results for the bayfront guy. Somebody else is missing but that's all.

Nothing on Nixle but am not surprised about that - suspect the police have other things on their mind right now.

FYI:

There are multiple road closures as police conduct their investigation. Kilauea Avenue is closed from Aupuni Street to Mohouli Street. Aupuni street is closed from Pauahi Street to Kilauea Avenue.

Witnesses say they heard at least nine to 10 shots fired in the area.

Hili Lagoon Centre with 135 residential units is on lockdown.

Sources say a vehicle the suspect may have been in has been found in Ainaola Subdivision in Puna.

We will have more on this breaking story when information becomes available.

Wonder if this is the same one who shot the guy on Bayfront the other night.

Also: "Ainaola Subdivision in Puna". Ainaloa in Puna, or Ainaola in Waiakea Uka?

It was a shootout at Cafe 100. Both police got shot in their lower extremities. The "person of interest" is still on the run. It seems there is a new fad to crap all over every nice spot on the eastside, or maybe its not new and just more of the same.
