Nathan ,wolf you continue to resort to name calling false accusations and vile statements something you have done since the first day you arrived 4+ years ago . the only time you ever spoke respectfully to me you apologized for your past behavior was when you thought you may not survive a health scare . well you did survive but learned nothing from your life threatening experience .

@wolverine2: A quick truce here just to interject my opinion on a very important issue that no one is talking about: TomK is definitely NOT Mr. Howell. He is in fact the professor, so deal with it okay? (FWIW, I agree with all the other castaway characterizations.)

Southernmost, the problem with your illogic is that no culture has ever, ever, remained static forever. Change will come with time and an influx of others with varying experiences, educations, and expectations for their lives, it's inevitable. Suggesting that people who would like to do it differently than you go home, is just rude. You'll make some headway with folks like me who got tired of the ghetto scene in lower Puna and came back, but your battle is a loser overall.

i have read from the acres facebook page that there a number of people that did not get the bylaw / vote change letter. the clock is running for some of the membership with the 15 day deadline i wonder if HACA will extend the dead line .

southern most i went to pahoa saturday night i noticed what appears to be homeless laying in front of some of the business/stores . that does not help the towns image .
