Need a higher flow rate kitchen faucet

Took me a while to figure out that although my pump shut down at 60 .....it would not kick on until the pressure had dropped below 40

left me with two options - raise the cut in pressure on the pump - or lower the sensitivity on the heater .....

Isn't it the flow rate that the water heater monitors? Why would it care about the pressure?

mine are pressure activated, flow rate and pressure related however.....

there is a pressure microswitch that activates the gas solenoid, downstream once it senses the required pressure.

the gas valve proportions the gas / water ratio to regulate temperature controlled by the temperature knob - limited to about a 45 degree rise

there is also a overheat switch that keeps the unit from scalding its user, should the flow rate drop below the ability of the gas valve to regulate temperature rise
