Request for resident income tax return waiver

Fortunately governance is not high on my list of requirements - low taxes are - makes for a good fit

Looking up the ordinance, this is a third draft.

Introduced by none other than ... Margaret "we can tax this" Willie.

Not surprisingly, "residing in the County for more than 200 days/year" is merely one of many ways to qualify for the exemption...

The IRS has had guidelines that are in place for years ....when it comes to setting tax rules / definitions I would think the states are obliged to follow the IRS lead...(see capital gains and primary residence exclusion) .....

The court is now ruling you know good and well where your primary residence is, and to use ambiguity of interpretation is the same as perjury. The legal definition is more than 50% of your continuous time in a residence, so 200 days out of 365 is more than 50%. Now, I remember when this was going on in the county council late last year, and just realizing this letter is the end product, well, jus' anudder dakine, brah.
