They should put a statue or sculpture right in the middle of the round part. Maybe Pele in gratitude for not covering Pahoa.

Agreed. A giant chunk of 2014 vintage basalt would do just fine.

Is the budget 1% of the cost as usual?
If so, I think $52,000 for a hunk of granite from China would be more in tune with the neo-avantgarde poop we are accustom to. There must be some rubble left over from the rocks gracing the Venue of Xanadu building in Hilo.
