I'll need to open all three of them up, measure the battery size and look for other identifying markings for each of them.
But, I'm going to cut down weed trees, buck them up, and mow lawn today.
.
EDIT:
My understanding is that the UPS's and their batteries cannot be shipped from the mainland [Amazon and such] because of air shipment restrictions.
Don't know if there is on these, mine was shipped priority which may or may not have been air from Ca to Fl. there's also plenty china sellers with batteries and those do fly.
And I didn't have to open mine as I opened the net and searched the type and maker, and as it's older and no longer listed by the maker so, I.D. positively by photos.

Correct: above 700VA the battery will be 24V (2x12).
At around 2KVA or above the APC battery pack will be 48V.
Some multi-battery configurations have a fuse as the series link between the batteries.

Correct, Shipment in the lower 48 can be done, but only by ground. AK, HI and I think P.R. need to be by air - cannot be done per Amazon.
APC's site shows a different size [L X W X D] and capacity [V-A-H] for each of the three batteries. I want to confirm as much of that as I can for myself.
It's becoming obvious that just throwing the UPS out and buying a new one would be the easiest course. But, I want to know if there are alternatives.
The China option may be viable. I have been making some eBay purchases from China and H.K. recently with good results.
Such purchases need a lot of caution to be taken when making them. I will look into that possibility.

Yes, I've found that some eBay sellers do ignore or are ignorant of many shipping regulations. But, It seems to be getting harder to find anyone that will ship to AK or HI. Although, I still can ferret out those that still will. I get a good cackle when a vendor changes to no AK or HI after I make a purchase.

Post the APC model number and we can try to figure out options that you may be able to pick up in Hilo. I kind of do this stuff (parts sourcing) for a living - just more in the transportation realm.

AGM batteries can be shipped - here's from FedEx's website:

Shipping Nonspillable Wet Batteries
In accordance with 49CFR§173.159 and USG-11, an
IATA (USG-11) nonspillable wet electric storage battery
may be regarded as not subject to the regulations if the
battery and its outer packaging are plainly and durably
marked “NONSPILLABLE” or “NONSPILLABLE BATTERY.”
The battery must also meet the conditions for being
regarded as not subject to the regulations as prescribed
in Special Provision A67, meaning that no shipper’s
declaration is required.

OK, after I pull the batteries and make comparisons to APC's specs. Then, I should have all the info needed to ID the battery requirements for each UPS, maybe.
I used to be one-man-band contractor doing AK Bacon bush jobs for many years. I'm so tight I squeak. Finding lowest cost, best sources and shipping was one of my primary goals. I still play at it.

Once you determine what you've got, if you are still wanting to find someone on-island, an out-of-the-box option would be to check with places that sell solar equipment - like gates, security lights, etc.
Heck, APC themselves will sell you a new unit and give you a trade-in on the old one, with a box to ship it back.

OK, I finally came up with enough time to look into this again.
All the eBay vendors wanted $50 to $60 for shipping, cheaper to go into Hilo and buy a new UPS.
Amazon will not ship the UPS or the battery.
But, The mfgr. of Mighty Max batteries thru Amazon will sell and ship the aftermarket replacement battery for the BN600 direct:
Battery: $21.99
S & H: $1.99
TOTAL: $23.88
I have placed my order and it has been accepted, the email confirmation has arrived.
Usually, when an order has reached that point, it's too late for them to back out.
I have had a couple of eBay whiners complain that they couldn't do it for the agreed upon price.
I did let them renege on the sale because it was only a $10 or $15 item, and I could get it elsewhere at close to the same price.
