Malama Mkt Pahoa Fridge Down

I was just by Malama Market in Pahoa and their fridges and freezers went down last night. They're not selling any dairy, eggs or meats right now but the produce and sundry things they have left are deeply discounted. Hate to see food go to waste.

Thanks Pilgrim, but could you give examples of what they are selling cheap - fruit?

When I was there I saw lots of whole fruit, some fresh vegetable produce and jars of stuff in the cold section like kimchi, dressing etc. I think there may have been some cheese in the case like Parmesan etc. It was still a little bit cold in those cases but the store was warm and stuffy like maybe the AC died too. They were taking out huge carts of dairy, ice cream etc. I think the produce may be gone (or thrown out) by tonight or tomorrow morning. Probably not the place to go for milk tomorrow.
