If you've been thinking about getting a generator
#1
Better get one quick. I remember after Katrina all the big box stores shipped their entire stock of generators to the affected area, going so far as pulling them off shelves in Alaska to ship them to Louisiana. The generator supply chain was dry for a long time after that.

Just a thought.....
Why should we be buying generators removing them from the supply chain when they are probably needed in Texas more right now?

I'm not here to judge anyone. Some people need power for lifesaving medical devices. Half of the people on this forum need power to access water. We're still in hurricane season ourselves.

So ... if I want a quality generator instead of something from China Inc, I should be fine?

Terracore,
No problem, I'm not picking on you, it's just the thought occurred to me. You make a good point.

Don't! Seriously, I am sick of hearing people say how they love off grid living yet they run a Genny all night. Leave off the oil and gas and go solar!
