Fact checking: Costco's primary architecture partner is MG2 who works with Span Construction, which is located in the Bay Area and also work in Hawaii. The poster above has never posted anything else on city-data, no no way to gauge poster reliability. Let the rumours continue...

Sorry to be a downer but IMO this topic, recurring, apparently (why I do not know) is slightly mean-spirited. We all know how folks feel about the potential of a Costco in Hilo.
With 20-plus posts now, many folks won't read the original and divine it is a hoax. Can we limit this recurring post to April of every year? Is that unreasonable?
