I have a paintball cylinder for my Sodastream but can't find a place to fill it. Any ideas besides Airgas and Matheson?

Out of curiousity, does Airgas not sell small quantities, or foodsafe CO2, or what?

Neither Airgas nor Matheson sell small quantities of CO2. Airgas told me that get lots of request from Sodastream users.

I have the same problem. Walmart used to carry the cannisters but no more. I've read that they're not refillable unless you buy an adapter but you might try this neat trick with dry ice. I haven't tried it yet but I'd love to hear if anyone has. I feel ripped off for buying that expensive sodastream plastic thing that I can't use.

With lots of requests and people with the sodastream, you'd think one could by a large tank and an adapter and make some kind of side cash at a farmers market.
