These little buggers have been pretty bad this season. Our house is fairly new with good screens and window, yet they still manage to get in each night. Probably through the ceiling. They are bad news. Any solutions?

Fly swatter. Low investment cost, works every time.
Certainty will be the death of us.

Check the screens again and the gaps under doors. I doubt they're coming through the ceiling, unless it has holes in it!
They just see light and head straight for it.

We have had pretty good luck keeping the he house free of blister bugs by putting a small bug zapper on our lanai to attract them before they enter the house. Before that we would just use the shop vac to get them off the ceiling.

The house we rented for vacation near Onekehakahaka beach had 20+/- on the living room ceiling each night. They were attracted to the light from the lamps. We started leaving the hallway light on at dusk, before the other lights had to be on. That drew them in and I had at them with with my slippah!

That is an effective method.
However even better would be to give all immediate surrounding neighbors those same bug zappers as Christmas presents or random gifts and get rid of yours.
