A judge that American Bar Association argued was unqualified for the appointment. Gee, I wonder who was responsible?

Hawaiian Airlines has retained the mandate for the time being.
I will breathe easily regardless of policy.

A judge who is deemed unqualified by the Bar Association, unqualified for a job for which she is trained, renders a decision on an issue of health care for which she has no background.  What could go wrong?

Hawaiian Airlines, with decision making abilities that cover all aspects of passenger flight related matters immediately roles over and plays dead, dropping mask requirements on their flights.

✈️TRAVEL UPDATE✈️
Effective immediately, face masks are optional for our guests and employees onboard Hawaiian Airlines flights. We ask for our guests’ patience and understanding as we update all our communications and announcements to reflect this change.

Most people like living free and feel everything that has happened in the last two years is just about the worst nightmare movie we could have been caught in, not even funny. If you are determined to go down with the ship so be it, but everyone else jumped off already.

I applaud all those who did their part when it mattered, we didn’t know what this disease would bring and everyone pulled together to do the right thing. The goal was to move past that stage, probably should have a year ago when the science came in, I’m glad it’s finally happened now. Most people I see out in public with full smiling faces now. The rest of you can keep wearing, I know you really just upset you can be smug about it and force others to.

Some folks in Ukraine might disagree with you about this.
Certainty will be the death of us.

@ HOTPE / Durian,
Waaaaaaa Why such sour grapes ?
What can be done to make you happy ?

There is another certain Federal Judge to discuss also but that is not for here.

This is great, anyone can keep wearing but the rest are not compelled to .. A win win because masks work right ?

This is great

… that word. I do not think it means what you think it means.” -Inigo Montoya, The Princess Bride.

And in related news:
Federal agencies are reviewing the decision and will provide future guidance so there may be further updates. In the meantime, the CDC recommends that people continue to wear masks in indoor public transportation settings. (Like General Lyman Field - Hilo Airport, Hele-On bus)

So there you have your choice.
A judge deemed unqualified by the ABA, appointed only because of a political agenda. On the bench for two years.
Or doctors at the CDC, the foremost experts in their field for decades.
Decisions, decisions.

I’m actually fine with the flawed decision, really don’t care about the mask mandate.

Last week before Judge Mizelle’s ruling, the CDC announced the mask mandate for federal public transportation would be extended another 15 days, effective until May 3rd.

So that isn't a big leap here. Unless of course it was just to kick the can down the road and buy time for the next excuse.

Glad this judge cut it off.
No reason to panic.
