5/3/25 - World Labyrinth Day Walk as One at ‘Awapuhi Labyrinth

On May 3rd, 2025, the 'Awapuhi Labyrinth in HPP will host a special event to mark World Labyrinth Day, focusing on the theme of "Creating Peaceful Paths." 

The day begins at 11:30 AM with a circle share, where participants will discuss building resilience in their lives and communities.

At 1 PM, a global tradition takes place with a labyrinth walk, uniting participants around the world to walk "as one" for peace. The walk will be accompanied by live music led by Deborah Masterson of Rhythm Full Circle. 

This event offers an opportunity for community connection and personal reflection, while also introducing Christy Hart Smith, one of the new labyrinth caretakers. Whether new or experienced with labyrinths, this day of reflection, connection, and peace is a unique chance to be part of a global movement.

I just took a friend to visit the Labyrinth yesterday for their first time; they never knew about it. They were absolutely captivated and so grateful for the insight it provided them in walking it.

I've been visiting the Labyrinth (and the wonderful Little Free Library!) for many years and am glad the new owners are keeping it open and hopefully it will continue to thrive and be a benefit to the community!
