The Bicker Board
Punatang - Homeschooling has it's benefits.
its* (sorry, sticks out, just screaming for a red pen, the perennial favorite of public school teachers)

But hey Tang, ASL is cool, thoughts on it vs Hawaiian Sign Language as discussed above?

Since we are grading each other's papers, I assume you were a little excited when you typed:

Isn't the the preferred format for ...

But then you won't find me writing [sic] when quoting people either.  Just how I roll.  You do you.

Thank God it is Lady Tang who has done the majority of the Homeschooling.  She's the one with the high IQ, who actually reads.  These days it's mostly self directed.  Instill the love of learning into your children and they will do amazing things.

I have no opinion on various sign language dialects. There are a ton of them including one that is called "Pidgin" but has nothing to do with our Pidgin here.  Hope you're not confused. Tang Jr and their partner often use sign language to circumvent parental awareness.  It's fun.  We like them to have their freedom to hang with us and still feel a sense of privacy.  Lots of giggles when the signing is going on.  Thanks for your interest.  Cool

Good catch, corrected, thanks! Was actually in the back forty checking the phone while taking a break from dealing with some storm damage and was hoping to get a quip in edgewise before three pages had gone by. Punaweb on a cellphone in the jungle is a challenge to be sure - thanks for being so understanding! (ETA: In response to this edit comment, it of course should be "We don't need any education" or perhaps "We don't need your education", but given the state of things, I'd say at least some basic education is in fact direly needed)

Worked in Central & South America, trading tacos for white bread, and speaks some functional Spanish, but now openly celebrates the attacking of immigrants and Americans with a different skin color - you're a strange fish Tang...

You know you're defeated when all you have is "racist".

I guess it depends on which side of your mouth you talk out of? Maybe a right hand/left hand on the keyboard confusion of sorts?

At any event, haven't you heard? Halftime shows and Spanish speaking is so yesterday.

The new vogue thing is to be pointing out the Un-American and Un-Patriotic American athletes competing in the Olympic Winter Games for expressing their American right of free speech viewpoints.

Actually, the way I see it, love and fear is all there is. All that other stuff is just excuses for one or the other.

As to this Bad Bunny v. Good, I saw a great opinion..

From: https://www.mediaite.com/opinion/it-was-...ve-become/

It Was Just a Halftime Show. The Meltdown Reveals How Dumb We’ve Become.

Which, in part, reads..

The most revealing thing about the Super Bowl halftime show was not Bad Bunny, Kid Rock, or even Donald Trump deciding that this was a useful place to weigh in. It was how quickly millions of people volunteered to be furious on cue, as if anger were a civic duty rather than an emotional habit that has gotten wildly out of hand.

This was a halftime show. Thirteen minutes of loud, glossy distraction designed to give people time to refresh drinks and argue about guacamole. It was never meant to unify the nation, heal divides, or signal the moral direction of the republic. Treating it as any of those things requires a level of seriousness that borders on parody. It’s like getting mad at someone else’s screensaver.

And yet here we are.

Sound familiar? Methinks the wahine at church should be more concerned with herself than all this humbug.. and blaming stuff on her just compounded the nonsense. But hey, when one is afraid of differences, and willing to have their emotions dictated by.., rather than organically their own, what do you expect?

And, regardless all that, I sure hope you got to watch the clip. I hear tell the bunny guy made special mention of our struggles here, in Hawai, and can only imagine that would help sooth your concerns big time. Really 'tang, I think that's the cat's meow. That our local struggles found their way to the middle of all that. And I know, without a doubt, you care a lot for the plight of the Hawaiians, right?

Thanks for mocking my dyslexia Jules.  You, Yak, and MyMan! should read Mr. Tucker's post carefully. It looks like he left a special Easter egg for you and Yak.

Time to move on kids.

Funny you should include me in that statement. I at least try and bring it back to Hawaii with every post. Whereas you haven't paid lip service to anything but some white nationalist's nonsense. So please.. get your fact straight. And maybe be as respectful as I was when asked to delete things that you didn't like..

Peace brother.

I guess if anything good can be said about all the discussion on the topics in the past few days here on the 'ole Bicker Board is that the "projectionist" crowd of blaming everyone else for what they consistently do is a very united front.
