The thing is, I didn't twist anything; I didn't post anything in the hurricane thread you claim I did. Why not look at the thread, see that you are wrong, and simply say "Oops, I'm wrong and apologize"? "Oops, I'm wrong and apologize"?
I’m under the impression that most posters on Punaweb have seen the movie “Love Story” and adhere to the premise of a slightly revised tag line, “Punaweb Means Never Having To Say You’re Sorry.”

Can't say I've ever watched it. I've seen "Ghost" with Patrick Swayze. I actually really like that movie! Beetlejuice is my favorite, but I haven't seen the sequel yet.

Interesting that you now say that proof is for courts and mathematicians, but hounded me relentlessly to publicly disclose personal identifying information as well as confidential client information to prove I am what and who I say I am. Maybe YOU could say "Oops, I'm wrong and apologize" for those endless taunts of me by you? (05-25-2026, 04:10 PM)MyManao Wrote: There is no reason anyone should have anything to do with you. But you keep responding to me, even if I don't post anything. If you post something that's a complete load of crap and clearly incorrect, of course, I'll respond to you as others might do. You've brought this one on yourself, and you're the only one who can fix it. Or try to get someone else to fix it for you on PW. I really don't care. You claimed to be a lawyer licensed in several states and still haven't provided evidence to support that claim. Sorry, HiloJulio, to me, you're an irrelevant sideshow. Sorry, HiloJulio, to me, you're an irrelevant sideshow. Same goes for my point of view about you Tom. I don't have to prove anything, especially to you. You don't demand the verification and proof of any other poster to substantiate their occupation, nor is that really an appropriate request to make from any poster to any poster. You come off as a pompous belligerent arrogant boorish know it all with the personality of battery acid and a maturity level of a spoiled 6-year-old brat. Everything MyManao has said about you here on the last few pages is 100% factually correct. And as MyManao says, PAU

TomK - Of course, I'm not going to prove it.
So you make a bunch of claims about beliefs in the supernatural that you are unable to support? Projection much? This limp mimicry of attacking religious belief is just sad... Even Dawkins would be ashamed and he went out of his way to defend pedophilia. To take a page from Big Island resident Terence McKenna and paraphrase British geneticist and evolutionary biologist JBS Haldane - "The world is not only stranger than we suppose, it is stranger than we can suppose" which of course mirrors Hamlet's "There are more things in Heaven and Earth than are dreamt of in your philosophy." Smart people tend to recognize how little they know and remain open to learning and new possibilities. You on the other hand... I can't prove anything unless it's a mathematical derivation or a court case. I have no idea why you can't grasp this concept. It's either willing or unwilling stupidity on your part, my guess is the former, but I'm not always right. Can you at least understand what's meant by the word "prove"? The scientific method doesn't "prove" things as much as you might hate to believe that. Now you switch things to "support" but it is such a dishonest position you're now taking. I don't need to support anything when it comes to wild claims with no evidence. That's the burden of those making their claims about gods, supernatural events, astrology, psychic abilities, life after death, ghosts, space aliens molesting cattle, chemtrails, fairies, leprechauns, the kraken, mermaids, etc. That's not my burden nor anyone else's, other than the person making the claim. Do all you want to say these things exist, but it's not my job to show you're wrong until you have an hypothesis with real evidence. TomK - It's much easier to show that other posters believe in the supernatural.
So go ahead and show that other posters believe in the supernatural. That a belief in the hard problem of consciousness, or in unseen and little understood powers, or Newton's alchemical ideas and practices are outside of the natural world. Your desperate attempts at earning your junior Horseman of New Atheism badge only demonstrates how little you've actually thought about or studied these issues. Maybe instead of engaging in freshman reductive materialism, go read anything of substance on these topics and come back with some new ideas instead of repeatedly parroting Dawkins, Hitcheson, et al. and actually engage in the conversation at hand, instead of the one you're imagining in your head as you're the only one going on about fairies, leprechauns, and mermaids. |
