AI in Puna
#41
Punaweb, especially right now, is not the place for all of that nonsense IMHO.

I wish you agreed with yourself.

Punatang - 100% false gaslighting.
Does that make it true lighting? Language has much perplexity.AI may not even have enough tokens to sort out the meaning.

You posted about that national nonsense.
Oh, wouldn't that be nice - that our ocean moat actually provided a barrier from the national mainland insanities. But alas no, they creep into the minds of locals through the lines of copper and fiber, and over the airwaves and beamed down from space, and then the Hawaii GOP vice chairman has to resign for promoting Qanon, and pastors on 90.3 are telling me about the Illuminati and how to invest in God's chosen crypto, and people think there's 19,000 missing votes because election denial is all the mainland rage, and Facebook is filled with AI slop telling people to count the number of blue objects that survived the Lahaina fires like some demented game of Where's Waldo, and people are worried about the County Black Helicopters coming for their catchment tanks, and on and on...If only it was just "national nonsense".

Punaweb, especially right now, is not the place for all of that nonsense IMHO.
As Hawai'i floods, you post about "wet marketards". As local families have to toss all the food in the fridge, you post that "Thank goodness" Hawai'i isn't embracing politicians who support free meals at school. On a completely unrelated noted, do you own a mirror?

Now that AI has apparently solved the Navier-Stokes problem I suppose this will improve hurricane forecasting, although it seems fairly accurate already.

I'm so sorry I missed the follow up nonsense.  Thanks DF for bringing this thread back to the fore.

Ironyak: Does that make it true lighting? Language has much perplexity.AI may not even have enough tokens to sort out the meaning.

I thought you had a better command of The English Language.  My mistake.  Sorry you are perplexed by a clear statement.  Maybe, read some more Harry Potter?

Ironyak: Oh, wouldn't that be nice - that our ocean moat actually provided a barrier from the national mainland insanities.

Just because the moat does not protect us, our adherence to the Punaweb agreement and respect for Rob's hopes and expectations should prevent your "insanities" nonsense from being spewed here.

Ironyak:  you post that "Thank goodness" Hawai'i isn't embracing politicians who support free meals at school.

That is an outright lie.  I support free meals at school and am well documented here in that support.  In fact, I personally feel very strongly that if we are going to require a child to be locked in a fenced area for x amount of hours per day that we have a responsibility to feed any child in that situation.  Stop lying.

Here is what was commented on, and quoted:

Thank Goodness.  Great article in the HSA.

...Mizuno said local Democrats are wary of embracing extremely left socialists who want “free (school) lunch and free health care.

Later, the poster stated he never said it, just quoted someone else.
To this reader, it appears the comment supports and agrees with the quote.  I assume that’s true for at least one other member of Punaweb who wrote  “you post that "Thank goodness" Hawai'i isn't embracing politicians who support free meals at school.”

Perhaps if a comment is misunderstood by multiple readers, the person posting, if their intention is to share an opinion on the subject matter, might do their best to make that opinion as clear as possible?  It would prevent any misunderstanding, which in this case lead to an accusation that may not even be true.  Just greater negativity and discord.

There is a Bicker Board for that.  Perhaps we need a "Get a life" board.

"Get a life" board.

More insults and negativity.  Stay classy my friend.

That's about the only reply you can expect when all the poster is doing is repeating talking points and then gets questioned on those talking points.

I also doubt class is in their vocabulary.

You get a Bicker board, and you get a Bicker board, and you get a Bicker board.  Keep the negativity, insults and class (baseball bat anyone?) flowing y'all.

Talking points!
