Mail in their own, home made ballot. Yeah, that's a great idea. In the unlikely event they actually obtained a valid one, it'd be rejected if they weren't registered. Or they could go to one of those "unsecured" drop boxes and do what, exactly? "Amber McReynolds, the CEO of the National Vote at Home Institute, and Charles Stewart, director of the MIT Election Data and Science Lab, reviewed data on vote-by-mail fraud recently and found that over the past 20 years in the United States, there have been more than 250 million ballots cast by mail but only 143 criminal convictions for election fraud related to voting by mail. That is only a 0.00006% fraud rate."

when he stopped by the police station, he found someone had broken in
Obie, When did this happen? There were no other officers at the police station at the time?

DF: only 143 criminal convictions [in 20 years] for election fraud related to voting by mail.
Edge: [only 5 cases of fraud, period, in 40 years] (per, he says, his Heritage Foundation) DF your voter fraud data represents, very roughly, 56x the voter fraud that Edge's does. Odd.

Odd
Nothing odd about it at all. The 5 cases are for all cases in one state, Hawaii. The 143 cases are for mail in ballots in the entire country. None of which affected elections in any way. Everything has a certain level of acceptable error. It costs unacceptable amounts of money to make something perfect. For instance, when manufacturing: What a healthy rejection rate looks like: 5–15% for precision instruments with systematic inspection https://www.reddit.com/r/LeanManufacturi...etric_why/ Could you cut that rejection rate to 1%? Sure, but it would cost more than any gain you would receive from increased output. It’s the same with voting. Could you reduce the fraud from .00006% to .00005%? Yes, but it would cost much more money and the results would statistically remain exactly the same. Nothing is perfect. If you demand perfection, you’ll get better results demanding it from the top, not the bottom.

In that case, your number would seem wildly off wouldn't it? I'm not sure these numbers have much meaning especially when Edge already seems to be distancing himself from Heritage Foundation findings regarding the handy "unattended" & "unsecured" drop boxes.

If you don’t understand what I’m saying, just ask, I’ll explain it to you. No need to concoct conclusions out of thin air, based on nothing.

What would/could Tang possibly be able to post then? At any event, Tang, of the 5 voter fraud cases in Hawaii, how many of them were fraudulent due solely to mail in voting?
