Small pieces of laminate - formica, or ... ?

I'm having a hard time locating some laminate of the formica or similar types for a small project.
All I need is a couple of pieces about 24 X 48, or a 1/2 sheet of about 48 X 48.
Color is not important.
HD can only special order it.
Is there anywhere else on the island where I might be able to pick some of this up without having to get a whole sheet or a truck load?

Try a local laminate contractor...they probably have some remnants in the shop they would be happy to sell to you.

Big island countertops in Hilo will sell you a scrap. They manufacture laminate countertops.

You hit it on the head, even if I found your post just now.
I stopped by B.I. Countertops yesterday and picked up the two pieces I need for my project.
Now, I need to go get the rest of the wood I need, then get started on it.
